Job description
- Perform diagnostic services, including online/offline partial discharge measurements, infrared thermography, vibration analysis, and power quality monitoring for electrical equipment at substations and industrial plants.
- Investigate root causes and resolve issues related to customers’ electrical systems.
- Propose preventive and proactive maintenance solutions.
- Analyze and evaluate data from periodic maintenance tests and online monitoring activities to provide recommendations for improving customers’ power systems.
- Build and maintain a technical database, including case studies, statistical analyses of failure scenarios, and typical testing results for internal training and in-depth research.
- Develop equipment condition assessment systems based on testing parameters, measurement results, and trend analysis, and provide technical recommendations to customers.
- Research new technologies related to partial discharge monitoring, power quality monitoring, power quality improvement solutions, and energy efficiency management.
- Research emerging technologies in protection relays, electrical circuits, and secondary systems used in substations.
- Participate in developing technical documentation, procedures, and training programs to support internal knowledge sharing and promote the company’s technical expertise to customers.
Authorities
- Access and operate advanced testing instruments and modern equipment.
- Use company vehicles for business trips and field assignments.
- Propose work-related expenses when necessary.
- Discuss and recommend appropriate company policies to management.
- Recommend rewards and recognition for outstanding work performance.
- Report directly to the Technology Team Leader and Technology Department Manager.
Working hours: 08:30 – 17:30
Work location: 5A, Thuy Loi 4 Building, 102 Nguyen Xi Street, Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related fields.
- At least one year of experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates with a strong foundation in electrical systems and equipment are encouraged to apply. Professional training will be provided.
- Enthusiastic, honest, detail-oriented, and responsible.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare well-structured technical reports and documentation.
- Strong self-learning ability through practical experience, technical documents, and professional discussions.
- Good English proficiency, particularly in reading and understanding technical documents.
- Ability to travel independently and work on-site for extended periods when required.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to project requirements.
