TDTU Startup Day 2026: A Launchpad for Ideas – Igniting the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Students

From April 14th to 16th, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully organized the Student Entrepreneurship Day – TDTU Startup Day 2026, creating a space for creative ideas to converge, connecting knowledge with practice, and strongly spreading the entrepreneurial spirit within the student community

The event was organized by the Center of Cooperation Enterprise and Startup, with the participation of a large number of students, lecturers, experts, and entrepreneurs and investors. This was not only an academic activity but also a launching pad for students to gradually realize their business ideas

A highlight of the day was the series of activities designed according to the journey of developing a startup project

The idea exhibition space that opened the program presented a vivid picture of TDTU students' creative spirit. Here, many new business models, innovative solutions, and prototype products were introduced, showcasing the younger generation’s daring and innovative mindset

Following this, the thematic session “The Journey of Building and Developing Startup Ideas” helped students access practical perspectives from those who have gone before. Sharing about the process of idea formation, how to identify opportunities, and how to develop business models contributed to a clearer direction for students’ entrepreneurial paths

The event concluded with a training and fundraising activity – a highly practical highlight. Student groups directly presented their projects to investors, received in-depth feedback, and refined their business models. Through this, students not only improved their presentation skills but also honed their strategic thinking and adaptability to the real-world business environment

With its approach that integrates learning and experience, TDTU Startup Day 2026 fostered an environment that nurtured innovation and creativity among students. At the same time, the program continues to affirm its role as a bridge between the university, businesses, and investors in supporting the development of potential projects

More than just an event, the TDTU Student Entrepreneurship Day is also a testament to the university’s training orientation, which is closely linked to practice, aiming to build a generation of students who are confident, creative, and ready to start businesses in the new context
