Ton Duc Thang University and Dong Nai City Federation of Labor Sign Cooperation Agreement for 2026-2030

On July 2, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Dong Nai City Federation of Labor (Dong Nai City FOL) signed a Cooperation Agreement for the 2026-2030 period. Building on the strengths of both parties in education, scientific research, technology transfer, and innovation, the agreement aims to contribute to the development of high-quality human resources capable of meeting the demands of digital transformation and international integration

Attending the signing ceremony on behalf of the Dong Nai City FOL was Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and President of the Dong Nai City FOL. Representing TDTU was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of the University, together with leaders and representatives of relevant units from both sides

Under the agreement, the two parties will coordinate activities across various fields. A key focus will be on the education and professional development of trade union officials, union members, and employees through undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as short-term training courses. The two parties will also organize training programs to enhance professional knowledge, practical skills, and digital competencies in response to actual needs. TDTU will also provide scholarship opportunities for trade union officials and their children under the Dong Nai City FOL

In addition, the two parties will strengthen cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer, and innovation; jointly organize scientific conferences and forums, as well as consulting and business support activities; and promote connections among the university, trade union organizations, and enterprises. These initiatives are expected to enhance the effectiveness of education, research, and the application of science and technology in support of local development

As a higher education institution under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, TDTU has consistently supported trade union organizations in their mission to support employees, develop human resources, and improve employees’ quality of life. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement with the Dong Nai City FOL further demonstrates the University’s commitment to connecting knowledge, facilitating technology transfer, and spreading educational values, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of local communities, enterprises, and the country.
