VIB Potential Internship Program 2026

Program Introduction

The VIB Potential Internship Program is a key internship program of Vietnam International Commercial Bank (VIB), designed to identify, train, and develop high-potential students to become the next generation of personnel in the Finance and Banking sector. This program offers third-year and above students the opportunity to experience a real-world work environment at one of Vietnam’s leading banks in digital transformation, directly participating in business activities, accessing digital banking platforms, modern financial products, and professional operational processes

Position: Digital Banking Business Intern

Job description

Learning and professional development (30%)

• Participate in training programs on retail banking, personal financial products, business processes, and VIB’s digital banking platform
• Learn about the operational model and businesses in a modern banking environment
• Participate in coaching sessions, experience sharing, and career guidance from the management team

Customer development experience (30%)

• Practice finding, approaching, and advising on personal financial solutions tailored to customer needs under the guidance of management
• Participate in building and developing relationships
• Relationship with customers through after-sales care and support activities
• Learn how to identify customer needs and introduce suitable products and services

Experience the business environment (20%)

• Participate in business meetings, training programs, and unit activities
• Observe and practice customer consulting and care processes according to VIB’s service standards
• Develop communication, teamwork, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Comply with and develop professional conduct (20%)

• Perform work according to VIB’s procedures, regulations, and professional standards
• Comply with regulations on customer information security and risk management
• Build a professional work style, sense of responsibility, and professional ethics in the banking environment

Other tasks

• Perform other tasks and projects as directed by management to enhance the learning and development experience in the program

Requirements

• 3^rd-year, final-year, or recent students graduating in 2026
• Preference given to candidates with majors in Finance and Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
• Possesses a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, and is willing to challenge themselves
• Passionate about finance, banking, and business development
• Desired to build a long-term career in a professional and modern environment

Career Development Pathway

Phase 1: Internship

• Duration: 03 months
• Content: professional training, product learning, and practical work experience

Phase 2: Customer Management Trainee

• Duration: 03 months
• Content: managing customer portfolios, developing consulting skills, and performing periodic performance evaluations

Phase 3: Official Customer Management with the opportunity to become a full-time employee at VIB

• Duration: Signing a 2-month probationary contract, after which a performance evaluation will be conducted, and there is an opportunity to sign a full-time contract with VIB
• Content: joining the Vib team, opportunities for advancement to management positions

Note: advancement to the next stage depends on the evaluation results and VIB’s recruitment needs at each period
